Our School
Our Parish Primary School
A Catholic education helps children improve academically and in thought, words, and deeds. St. Gregory's RC Primary School on Nash Road is our Parish Primary School, and we are very proud of the religious education there.
The school is open to families of faith, different faiths and no faith. Father Ted will regularly say Mass at the school and welcome the children to mass, their First Holy Communion, and to take part in Mini Vinnies.
About the school
At St Gregory’s we want our pupils to learn, achieve and excel inspired by Gospel values, so that they can reflect God’s love in their everyday lives.
As a Catholic School, we have a unique place in the local community with very close links to our Parish church. We aim for our school to reflect the Gospel Message and place Jesus Christ at the centre of everything we do by integrating Gospel values and the teachings of the Catholic Church into every aspect of learning. Because of this, great thought and effort goes into the education and nurture of our children as individuals. We also value the collective: the joy of working and learning in a school that is bonded by common values. We recognise that each one of us has a special part to play in creating a better world and building up God’s Kingdom here on Earth.
